I think I would prefer researching individual species myself and picking the ones I want to use...

Welcome to Permies, Jessica!
I took a look at the website. What a great idea to market.

But just looking at their planting plan I'm wondering about the practical side of the idea: lavender and marshmallow side by side? They have very different growing conditions (lavender prefers soil that is sandy, letting water through easily and relatively warm, marshmallow as the name implies, likes soggy conditions).

While I'm a bit skeptical about the outcome of the promises reflected on the site, I am happy about the offering of herbal medicine as a natural alternative to pharmaceuticals. Herbal medicine and the human body both are of nature, so they tend to work together well.

Herbal medicine and pharmaceuticals don't always mix well, so if one is on any pharmaceutical medication, one should always consult a medical doctor or herbal medicine practitioner before attempting herbal self-medication.
