Hello everyone,

We are looking for a couple interested in creating and managing a small organic garden and farm-to-table restaurant in the countryside of Alentejo, Portugal.

Our property is a rural retreat surrounded by nature and open landscapes. We would love to bring more life to the place by developing a productive vegetable garden and a small restaurant based on fresh local food.

We can offer:

A house on the property

Up to 1 hectare of land available for organic production

Water and basic farming equipment

Occasional help from our staff

A small countryside restaurant building that you can operate

The idea is to create a small market garden and farm-to-table concept.

You would be free to sell your vegetables and products to:

guests staying at the retreat

local grocery stores

restaurants in the area

local markets

In return, we would receive a small concession fee and access to vegetables and meals when we are on the property.

Ideally we are looking for a couple where:

one person enjoys gardening, permaculture or organic farming

the other enjoys cooking or hospitality

But we are open to different profiles if you are motivated and responsible.

The goal is to create something long-term and mutually beneficial.

Alentejo is a beautiful and peaceful region with lots of sun, open landscapes and a strong food culture.

If this sounds interesting to you, we would love to hear from you.
