SKIP Homestead Workshops

Hey all! We wanted to share about our first SKIP Homestead Workshop we had this past weekend at the Learning Gardens near Athens, Texas. We called it Plant and Preserve, and participants learned about soil sifting, soil blocking, burning your garden rows, planting, and so much more. We harvested turnips from the garden and pickled them.  People were really interested in the SKIP program, and wanted to purchase the book! We are going to buy some and have them available at the next workshop!
