A big part of permaculture is building savvy about plant species.

I think it would be great if we could have a new species introduced each day.  So we end up with one thread for each species.  And in that thread we can talk about everything we know about that species.

jup, cool.

so, you will create the 'species of the day' sub forum. and in that forum every day somebody can post a species they are totally into (we all have our favorites we can never stop talking about). And we can totally rant on about how great, usefull an versatile this and that plant is...?
great

(so every time at 12 in the night people will be waiting up to be the first to post a species for that day!... o shit no, timediff....)

I was thinking that some would appear in "organic practices", some would appear in "woodland care" and some would appear in "permaculture".

That sounds cool! Perhaps we could start one thread in each?

I think there is already a little of this already happening.

I think if there was one new thread in each, each day, that would be fine.
