greetings from......we are headed to pick up the electric tractor

Tim, the kiddos, an I are leaving Montana this bright crisp morning an are headed across four states. We are headed for the California coast to Steve Heckeroths place to pickup Pauls new electric tractor! Along the way we will post where we are an cool things we see! An then of course the tractor once we get there! We are shooting for twin falls Idaho today...so wish us luck!

The things that I spotted from the first pic ...

You get a clear view of Tim's bumper. Which he made. The bumper that was there before had an entirely different idea of what a "bump" might be.


And this picture includes a good example of what our jungle looks like. I think a lot of the forest in montana is not as jungly as ours.

The terrain has changed again!

Salmon Idaho....an some of the weird things you see when you least expect it

The terrain around salmon ranges from sharp jagged peaks to rolling hills....but also hardly any trees

Time for lunch break! Tim also realized for the most part with the different climate - being sage brush- that his allergies have almost cleared up !!

Its nice fueling up whenever you want to! This huge pine was where we had lunch today!it would look incredible inside the new wofati

We are pretty high up today!willow creek summit is at 7160 ft! An its gorgeous up here....

Thought this was rather interesting !

Well part of the reason we stopped on the summit was we were over heating....so let the ol girl cool off an then Tim went to check fluid an she blew the cap right off...an had an oil leak on the back side of the motor. Some very nice people stopped an helped us out an gave us plenty water to fill her back up again....topped off the oil an she seems good to go again! Thank you so much to the strangers that stopped an helped us out!

The peak we could see at the summit was borah peak....its elevation is 12662 ft....its the highest point in Idaho!

After 8 gallons of water....half gallon of oil ....we are back to cruising the highway again....so keep us in your thoughts...an hopefully everything will go smoothly from now on....

We made it to Mackay Idaho!

Its hard to see but behind the brown field in front is a field of fresh cut hay....nothing smells better than the smell of fresh cut hay!!

We are now in ARCO Idaho....which is close to the craters of the moon preserve....an on our way to twin falls....a quick stop to check the truck an we will be back on the road ...just before we got into ARCO there is a rock wall where high school classes have painted thier grad year up on it....it was pretty neat

There is so much to see ....as far as terrain....in southeast Idaho....

Just came thru Richfield Idaho ....

Seems to be a few crop fields finally...some corn...an looked like some barley

We just got to Shoshone Idaho....at least there is finally some trees!
