Hello everyone! I’m currently looking for a more intentional way of living and I'd really like to be a part of a mutual aid/barter based homesteading community in the US. I currently live in Utah, but would prefer somewhere with trees and water if I can find one. I’ve been feeling increasingly drawn toward homesteading, cooperative living, mutual aid, craftsmanship, and creating a life that feels more grounded and connected.

I’m especially interested in intentional communities or co-op style homesteads where members share ownership, responsibilities, resources, and long-term vision together rather than a traditional landlord/tenant setup. I love the idea of building something sustainable and meaningful alongside people who value collaboration, self-sufficiency, creativity, and community care.

A little about me: I’m a mother of 2 toddlers. My husband and I are struggling with the ever rising bar for basic living in this rat race. We are both 30 and creatives at heart. We struggle with keeping our creative souls in a box for the 9-5 work day and are craving connection and natural living. I am extremely community-oriented and have built many clubs, support groups, small businesses, and other social start ups and know what it takes to build a community. I'm very comfortable being a villager, but I don't want to be in a city anymore, just looking for a different village.

I have a passion for horticulture and would really like to grow my permaculture skills. I'm very passionate about handmade crafts and have been running a crochet and crafting shop for a while that I would love to teach, trade, and share!

I’d love to connect with anyone who knows of existing co-ops, land-share communities, intentional homesteads, or groups currently looking for new members. I’m also open to hearing about people who are in the early stages of building something similar.

Thank you!
