Heh guys, great site. I'm looking at building a rocket stove in my old spa hole to heat our out door area. It is around 7 foot square and 2 feet deep. I would like to heat the floor and move the couches over the top. I am thinking it would be ideal to have the barrel as centred in the overall space as possible so we get some heating in the dining area. I have included some Google earth images so you can see the broad and micro climate. Still trying to figure out how to lay it all out...

Best I could do guys. Doesn't seem to like my gallery photos, doesn't mind screen shots. You can see the sand pit with my temp fireplace. It's an undercover outdoor area. Hope it makes sense.
