Hey guys!
I'm new to the forum, not necessarily new to cows. I raised a runt angus given to me by a local rancher when I was a kid, but she was stolen from her pasture at 4 years of age and we never managed to find her. Besides my dog, she was likely the best pet I ever had and I've never stopped thinking about pet cows in the future, having kept in mind more recent dwarf/mini breeds as a more feasible possibility due to my fibromyalgia.
I'm just curious if any of you have had experience with these mini's (any breed) and what your thoughts are on pasture size, feeding requirements in comparison to the average or larger breeds, health (anything you can think of really)? It wouldn't be for years to come as my husband and I are currently within the city, but it never hurts to ask and get ideas and further educated for when the time comes (or even if it doesn't happen).
Thanks!
