This is by Kelpie Wilson's group. They advocate for making biochar where the trees are, so you don't have to move everything. It is free, by donation.

Biochar workshop at Pacific NW Permaculture Convergence 2019
SUBJECT: Biochar On Site Monthly Network Meeting
About this month's session:
🧐 Curious how to make biochar demos genuinely fun, clear, and memorable? Or how to design them for forestry crews vs. policy makers vs. school kids?
🤩 Join the Biochar On Site community on Wednesday, September 2 at Noon Pacific Time for a lively session on designing biochar demos and workshops that grab attention and help people understand what biochar is, how to make it, how it works, and why it matters. We’ll get into what makes a demo flow well, how to keep it engaging from start to finish, and how to create an experience people will actually talk about afterward.
💡 Whether you’re planning a hands-on workshop, a public event, or a quick demo for a new audience, this session will give you practical ideas you can use right away. Expect a friendly, energetic session with smart tips, creative inspiration, and plenty to spark your next great demo.
🔥 BOS Community members - what are your tips for a great demo or workshop? Share them at the session!
