looking for partners - older - can still contribute and work

Hi friends.  I am moving, leaving Texas and there are options.  Taxes are just too high, and I'm just not a townie.  While the convenience is nice, the rest of it...  not so much.  I have lots of experience, can operate heavy machinery, a great cook, love building and renovations, searching for a barn on some acreage with trees, maybe more.  I'm looking for space, privacy and freedom to make my own decisions about what happens to me.  I have lots of talents, but more - my experience has given me some patience.  A little wisdom.  I'm not really available to teach younger people, but more hopeful to find equals, partners that can bring their own stuff to the table.  If I invest $50,000 and two or three others could do the same, we could find a really nice place.  There is no rush, this is the beginning of a new journey.  I'm a nice lady, old hippie from Austin area, owned a farm with 6 acres, and now I'm somewhere between Abilene and Brownwood.  Having fun, being peaceful, finding loyalty with friends, all this is important.  If you're interested, please feel free to reply.  Questions will be answered.  Thanks, Cissy

Hi Cissy. I'm sort of made of the same bilk as you. I'm a gal in central Kentucky surrounded by green rolling hills still finishing up renovating a house built 160 years ago. I am giving thoughts to selling and moving on because I haven't formed any roots here in any form or fashion. Just building and gardening and fighting back the jungle. I used to live in TX long, long ago and would not move back there if someone paid me. I moved from there to WA up in the Pacific NW. I've been here in KY for 4 years and need to learn to retire and enjoy. I'm an old organic farming hippie, well, I wouldn't say old, that's relative because even though I've slowed down, I still have get up and go! Seeking friendship to plan future events with.
