Not certain if anyone has done this one yet. I saw a video recently about a mosquito trap made out of soda bottles containing a yeast/sugar/water solution that lures in the mozzies using co2.
I was due to make a batch of raw kraut and thought it could work in the same fashion and stack functions while the kraut ferments.
The finished product looks similar to one of those home made automatic watering pots that are all over the web with a cut soda bottle taped to an inverted top half -of a soda bottle upside down creating a funnel like trap...

I will be interested in seeing if that works out. Dragonflies, while probably not delicious, are also good at keeping the "Mozzies" (nice Britishism) down.
