This event has come together this week in true Permie style! There was a need getting talked about and folks just started volunteering, Stone Soup style and voila! Sorry for the short notice, but that's the way its blossomed!
So it this Sunday, in Seattle, details below... we have a currently empty 2nd house on our city farm property, and if we're not getting rent, we might as well get community karma, right? Permies coming in for this event are welcome to sleep there Sat night in trade for helping to set up Sunday morning. Space is limited of course

but likely most folks have plans anyway.
If you're interested and bummed you can't make it this year, probably next year we'll spend time in meetings and do a more traditionally organized event.

You can share in mini-demos of chevre making, mozzarella stretching, cheese sampling, Prof Poop, contests for guess the baby kids weight and name the baby kid, a “Start Now For Food All Winter” garden talk, Goat Poop Bingo and goat-doo
compost sale, and Edible Hat Making. In the marketplace are handmade soaps, wooden swords, chairs made from recycled wood, some fancy and farm fresh eggs, seedlings and more. In the Silent Auction so far are autographed books, cheesemaking 1/2 day class, Wild Edibles tour, garden things, birdhouse, planter, a Pantry Makeover, cheese tasting party and more...
