water and shade is prob your best bet in hot climates.. best of luck!



Yes, I can imagine the sort of European fantasy weather proliferating the hillsides filled with lavender is where it must grow well.

So far, I am glad to have kept alive my lavender, comfrey, and my patchouli has taken off after I thought it was going to die even though it thrives in my environment.

Patchouli is very bizarre in that it loves pots, but will only grow a few leaves, and very tiny, in a 3 inch pot, yet the moment it's potted up to something any bigger it takes off like a rocket. What an amazing scent.
