I live in a valley surrounded on 3 sides by a mountain. I have a 23 mile view down the valley without a house in it. I can call the deer out of the mountain to feed them corn. I am selling my last corporation and hope it will be finished soon. I hold 3 engineering positions mechanical,hydraulic and electrical. I did the design engineering work on all the longwall mining systems sent all over the world. I also designed the continuous miner for Eimco inc. and designed the machines that dug the last tunnel under the English channel. I like to have fun and am open to learn new things. I like to go bass fishing and i do hunt but not as much as i did in the past years. I enjoy ridding a 4 wheeler in the mountains. I own several mountain farms here and have access to around 5,000 acres to play on. I do like to build precision long range rifles if i have my heart in it. So I wanted to post an update on my current status as I continue to receive messages from lovely folks on here. I've had many wonderful conversations that started on here and been deeply inspired by all the people who are homesteading and making that wild and beautiful life a reality.

I'm currently dating someone so I'm not looking for a romantic connection. However, I am still very much interested in helping on a homestead. I've relocated to N. GA to be near family but am finding this is not in alignment with how I want to be doing my part on this planet. I'm hoping to find something for this summer to escape the heat and humidity here. I'd much rather be working with my hands in the soil doing something meaningful than nursing.

If anyone is looking for help with gardening, herbalism, foraging, building, etc. and is open to hosting myself and my 9 year old daughter in exchange for help on the homestead, feel free to reach out! I'd love to hear from you and be of use and connect with like minded folks.

Hi, we are homesteading and starting a small community and nature based church in central NY state.  We have been doing this for 16 years, and just bought a second piece of land nearby.  We grow lots of veggies, fruit trees, nut trees, and have dairy cows and chickens (though we need to buy more).  We have lots of space for permaculture projects and housing potentially available.  It is a cold fairly cloudy climate here, which is not to some people's liking.  You can find us on the intentional communities website.     https://www.ic.org/directory/via-lactea-sanctuary/

This is honestly sad and is proof all the good women are taken. Tins of good guys in their 40s looking for love. This world has been fushed down the toilet. I am finally the man I know every ex always new I could be and no one cares. I don't do social media so I'm not able to connect that way. Not worth the trouble. I live in a sparsly populated area. Oh well, my dog and I will enjoy this paradise alone.
