Clear skies are fairly rare here. Tonights' is cloudless. The moon is still above the tree line. Great view. Total eclipse now.

now I think ours was a little later than I said, my vision is so blurry that I couldn't tell for sure...now I can't find it at all so I am not sure if it is just that low on the horizon or it is a total total eclipse............could you still see the light around the edges?

The last half was obscured by the tree line here. Still worth getting up early for.

I usually miss these things. I have gotten in on many sunrises, sunsets, meteor showers and full moons.
