Correct! It's a hoverfly, which someone visiting here (was it Zach Weiss?) told me eat aphids. The Wikipedia page said their larvae are insectivores though the adults eat pollen and nectar. Very cool!

Husky gaurdian dog. She protects Noah's chickens. We just got 23 dozen from him. That's one week of his production and about one week of our use.

She is a sweet heart and beautiful especially the "headdress" on her back.
