Everywhere I look I see opportunity.
My garage is no exception. There's a tiller in there, a couple of woodstoves and a reel mower, none of which I have used in several years. I'm not alone, you should see my brothers shed! There are folks who would put a tiller to good use. I could offer it on Craigslist but I'm not in such a hurry that people with a need and who have given so much to the Permies.com community should miss out. Folks around here may take a strong interest in a woodstove or a pile of logs sitting in the yard.

We all have wants and needs. Some of us have surplus. With Farm Income and Frugality in mind, there is a need for a place to advertise items of good use, free, for loan or for sale. They should be items which are appropriate for natural growing, homesteading and permaculture. Some spare firebrick would fit in. A 1972 Camaro would not. The great advantage here would be people with an interest in what you have, or may already have what you are looking for. Photos can be uploaded to give the readers a good look at the item. We have a messaging system in place to talk about the item and negotiate. If the items does not move here, try Craigslist.

Everyone can use a shot in the arm. This is a chance to put those spare items to work and clean up the garage at the same time.
What have you got?
Books
Tools
Appliances
Building Materials
Lawn and Garden
Seeds
Greenhouse Supplies
Compostable Materials
Kitchen Items
Household
Livestock
Stuff

I'll be happy to start...

FREE Wood Chips
The power company guys came through to clear the trees around the power lines. They've dropped off 7 truckloads of wood chips. I just don't have time to do anything with it. Some of the piles were dumped here last March. If you've been itching to try Back To Eden Gardening, take what you need. They'll bring more eventually.

FREE Logs
I had some trees taken down around the power lines, near the house and over the well house. I've been meaning to get to them but there is too much good stuff to read on Permies.
These are all water oaks. Size ranges from twigs to logs 2 feet in diameter. Can be used for fence posts, hugelkulture, campfires, home heating, mushroom growing, arts and crafts.

I'm a few miles north of town at 1405 NW Suwannee Valley Road.

Take 41 North. It's on the left about a half mile past the fire station.
House is about 1 1/4 miles off 41. Look on the right for 2 white trucks and a big field with a pile of wood chips.
If you get to the Agricultural Inspection station at the Suwannee River you are about a mile too far.
Gate is open, help yourself. They'll bring more I'm sure.
