The short version is below. Geoff visits the volcanic island of Moloki (Hawaii) to show us how an ancient Hawaiian system - the ahupua'a - is sustainably managed from the top of the volcano all the way out into fish ponds in the sea. This site has been rehabilitating some elements of this system that are more than 600 years old. This is a CLASSIC example of tropical permaculture.

Great stuff .
Made me think about the possibility of rebuilding a tidal water mill in Brittany and using the ponds there for fish .
