Hi everyone, my RMH has two bench clean-outs with only those plain metal caps currently showing. Any ideas on what to use as a facade (pictures)? I wanted to use wood but I think the first cap gets too hot.

Daniel Ray : Ernie Wisner tells a story about ''Monkey fingers", He relates a story of visitors to a house containing a Rocket Mass Heater RMH, As I understand his story,

The visitors left temporarily alone 'experimented' with loosening a clean out cap !

The Home Owners dealing with a host of new -poor ventilation or system 'Draw' problems eventually tracked the problem down to a 'loose Clean-out cap !

Ernie recommends hiding the very presence of a 'Clean-out' by blending in with what is already there! Generally tile serves well in most locations !
