When i lived on Mount Spokane, I was very lucky. After being up there for about a month, Tim connected me with a widow who had a garage full of her late husband's tools and she just wanted it to go away. So, for $100 I received a pickup truck load full of hand tools and dozens of buckets full of nuts, bolts, screws and odd things. All of that stuff saved me about 40 trips into town. In time I happened across a few more buckets and collections of old tools.
We need about three of those pickup truck loads here at wheaton labs.
And other stuff pops up too.
It seems that some people just love to go to yard sales and estate sales. They find out about this sort of thing and you can't keep them away. It seems we need that pickup truck load of nuts, bolts and rusty hand tools.
