Can earth bags be sealed shut with a heat sealer? I am talking about a machine similar to the "seal a meal" (pardon the use of a brand name) I have seen handheld sealers for cheap that will heat seal a bag of any size _ no vacuum sealing but that is not necessary.

Doubt it.
Most fold a flap under. Others wire it shut. I drop 2 T50s into a couple folds.
