Hi everybody

Do you think it would be possible to retrofit something efficient to this apartment fireplace ?

I am in France, south west, 3rd and last floor of a small building, facing south.
3 rooms, and the fireplace is on the middle room. It works great, no smoke, but the heat is not really efficient.

Wear do you think ?

Thanks!

I got this tall by not having enough crisco in my diet as a kid. This ad looks like it had plenty of shortening:
