Heya permies! We are trying to get a compost business started here in Mombasa Kenya. Only 8% of farming households on the coast use fertilizer. If they start increasing agricultural productivity with conventional methods you can say good bye to the reef! We would like to make fertilizer available to disadvantaged farmers and tie it into our demonstration garden to help this area develop sustainable agriculture for food security. If you have some time we would be very grateful if you could share our campaign with other people who care. And if you donate I will make you beautiful art! You can find the details of our campaign at Growing Futures Compost Thank you for your time and for caring about our future!

Hi Evelyn, you may want to get in contact with RealImpact based in Thika, your aims are very similar.

Gravity is a harsh mistress. But this tiny ad is pretty easy to deal with:
grow your own garden and build your own home, in Montana, for free-ish
