I've heard of benefits gained from inter-planting. (You know not just mono-cropping all tomatoes in one bed ect..) What works well with what? I think I remember reading somewhere that onions are good to grow with lettuce to keep pests at bay. Other than that I am at a loss. I'd love to hear about some of your techniques/observations. Thanks.

You're welcome, glad to help where I can. I wasn't sure those were exactly what you were looking for, but I thought they might be helpful. Also, try checking at the bottom of the thread, there are links to threads the permies website thinks are relevant to the thread you created.
 
keep an eye out for scorpions and black widows. But the tiny ads are safe.
