Hey there people,

Been lurking on the site for a long time, wanted to finally post something and say hello to you all, hopefully this will get me started on meeting some local Permaculture enthusiasts.

I'm originally from the UK, moved to Canada around 14 years ago. I started off in Vancouver, now I find myself here in Hamilton Ontario. I think this is a great city, there's a lot of activity here and there's a lot of great people.

In the UK I was involved with the Green Party, very different to the Green Party of Canada, but still very much on the right path. I'm hoping to meet some like minded people to work on some renewable energy projects. I've built wind turbines and assembled solar power kits in the past, I'm really not up to date with the current technology, but I'm learning lots from the forums here!

I'd really like to try my hand a Rocket Mass Stove, I have found myself becoming very enthusiastic about the idea of cooking and heating with wood recently.

Cheers guys!

Howdy George, welcome to permies! I have added your intro to a regional forum so the folks up north can see your post too.

Hey Adam, how often are you there at Mustard Seed? I will make a point to stop by when I know you're working.

Cheers!

I have begun to write a book. I already have all the page numbers done! And one tiny ad:
