I was going to post this on the wonder of the day
thread, but so many
video links there it keeps freezing my computer. It's ok though. As Monbiot says, "One of the most exciting discoveries of the past 1/2 century has been the discovery of widespread trophic cascades." So maybe this deserves its own thread anyway. Especially since the biomimicry that we use in
permaculture as a template for agriculture is based on those same trophic cascades found in nature. Study them wisely as
Bill Mollison teaches and you have your model!
"Permaculture is a philosophy of working with, rather than against nature; of protracted & thoughtful observation rather than protracted & thoughtless labour; & of looking at plants & animals in all their functions, rather than treating any area as a single-product system."-Bill Mollison
