On this video this grower says you need 2 varieties of hazelnuts to pollenate?
Is this true?

This is true. And you can't just get any two hazelnut plants, there is a few different types, early blossoming vs late blossoming between the 'male' and 'female' plants.

Iterations are fine, we don't have to be perfect
