Hi,

Goumi? Goumi?! GOUMI!!

Every permaculture plant list I've ever seen has listed Goumi (Elaeagnus Multiflora) as a great plant.

But, I can't find a single person selling any plants or seeds anywhere in Canada.

Does anyone here in the Great White North have some Goumi plants or seeds they would be willing to sell/trade me?

Thanks!

They're mixing up umbellata and multiflora.

Is there a big difference between them?

There's some happy Guomi in the Spring Ridge Commons food forest in Victoria; I didn't harvest any berries for propagation last fall, because I wasn't a fan of them, but if you were in the area at the right time that could be a free source.

Beyond that, Treeeater on Denman has them as well. He'll probably be at the Seedy Saturday in Courtenay in couple weeks.
