Hey Paul,
I was listening to Jack Spirko's podcast yesterday and he was talking about planting living food fences. One of the nursery's he mentioned for whole sale tree seeds was Lawyers Nursery. I think this nursery is near you! Any thoughts on them? Have you used them before? They have great pricing on tree seeds etc, and this might help with your planting! Good luck with everything, and I love your podcasts. Perhaps we will meet someday if I can make it to a PV. I am working through your book review podcast that you did about Sepp. I am pretty sure I have listened to about 93.7 percent of your podcasts. Thanks for all that you do! Here is the link to Lawyer nursery. www.lawyernursery.com . -Lawrence Rickson, Whitman Ma.

I've used them to the tune of 3000+ plants over the last two years. Excellent survival percentage, excellent varieties, excellent choices of size, good to work with to schedule deliveries. I highly recommend them. Good luck.

Paul and I went to the Memorial Day weekend bare root plant (retail) sale at Lawyers Nursery last year and I purchased quite a few shrubs and trees for amazing prices. Most lived, despite the abuse I put them through.

They have bareroot, in person sales in Plains, MT, or Olympia, WA.

As of today, this page https://www.nurserystocksale.com/plains-sale/ (which is for Plains, MT, but has a link for Olympia, WA) still shows prices and dates from 2016, but there is a spot on the page with a link to sign up for their retail sales emails.

Our pdc starts May 28th, so I might not make it this year, darn it. Kai was bummed he couldn't go with me last year, so maybe I could talk him into going with a list!

I've bought trees and seed from them in the past and have been satisfied.

Though they don't have much variety compared to the past, so haven't lately.

Lance,
I will have to take a look at what they have to offer, mostly looking for persimmons to plant this year, I hope they have some, but doubt it! I hope spring gets there soon, we just got a noreaster yesterday, but only about 5 inches of snow! We lucked out. Have a great day and I appreciate any feedback!
