Hello Everyone,

I am a mother of two living in NC. I would like to start a permaculture farm but do not know how I have 10 acres I would like to purpose if anyone would be interested in coming to my farm a resect grad of permaculture who is
wanting to get their feet wet we could help each other they could live and design the farm and I would learn from them. If anyone would be interested in this please contact me I am open for ideas on how to put a plan that would work for both parties.

Welcome to permies Elizabeth! We are glad to have you join us on permies.com! If you need help navigating the permies website, I have created a Welcome Thread explaining a lot of how permies.com works.

I have requested for the thread you created to be cross-linked to the Appalachia and Opportunities subforums so that more people are aware of your desire to have someone visit your land.

I have listed many resources for gathering the necessary information to create a permaculture design in the Help me Start My Paper/Computer Plan thread. There are also many free sources of information for self-training in permaculture such as Paul Wheaton's videos, podcasts, and articles; Permaculture News and Permaculture TV; Bill Mollison's Online Lecture Series and Global Gardener Series; the Open Permaculture School; Jack Spirko's Permaculture Lectures; and so much more.

A certificate in permaculture design is not required to design permaculture landscapes. If you need advice, we at the permies.com community will be glad to try and help you.

Always! Wait. Never. Shut up. Look at this tiny ad.
