Geothermal Farm positions available:

Needed immediately—We have two unpaid positions available for highly reliable people. This is an 11 acre Geothermal Farm in the Magic Valley near Hagerman, Idaho. There are two 4000 sq. ft greenhouses growing tropical fruit, an orchard and a geothermal pool bathhouse.

Two Geothermal Greenhouses:
Mediterranean Figs
Citrus: Eureka Lemons, Meyer Lemons, Tangelos, Grapefruits, Pomelos, Tangerines, Limes

Orchard:
Grapes, Peaches, Cherries, Plums, Pears, and Blackberries

Farmer and Maintenance/Grounds person will share the downstairs of the farm house— 2500 square feet—Three bedrooms, one kitchen and one full bathroom to share and laundry. The owner and manager reside upstairs. This is not fancy but a nice livable space.

If you are craving a rural lifestyle, this is a beautiful farm with hotsprings. We look forward to welcoming the right people.

Job description:
This is not a permaculture job, this is a farm job.
No herbicides or pesticides are used on this farm.
Both positions require a 2 year minimum commitment:

Farmer- 20 hours/week

Plant
Prune
Compost
Make Eco enzyme (treat trees)
Fertilize
Monitor drip system and sprinklers
Operate pump (and keep record of doing so)
Burn as needed (after pruning or if we cut down a tree, etc)

Job description:
Maintenance/grounds 20 hours/week

(this position is 25 hours/week in summer, 15 hours/week in winter, 10 hours/week in spring and fall)

Clean pool
Mow lawn
Garden/rake/weed
Pick/wash fruit
Deliveries (to Boise, Sun Valley)
Collect boxes (we reuse boxes, pick them up while delivering).
Must have a car for his position.
