Hi my name is Carl Legge.

I live on a 3 acre smallholding in North Wales, UK. It's on the side of a mountain facing south and west into the prevailing winds with glorious views of the Irish Sea and Cardigan Bay.

We grow fruit, veg and nuts in raised beds, polytunnels and forest garden areas. We keep chickens for eggs. In the past we've kept pigs, geese, turkeys and ducks.

I'm keen on sustainable gardening, fermentation of all types, baking, and discovering & consuming new foods & recipes.

I wrote my first book The Permaculture Kitchen to inspire and encourage people to cook sustainably. I try to show how easy it is to cook ethically sourced, seasonal, local food to make tasty meals with no faff, whatever your lifestyle.

Great to have you here Carl!

I absolutely loved your book. I wish I'd had it a few years ago when my son was learning to cook, it would have been so perfect.
