Ron has a brother and a sister that live hundreds of miles from our house so we don't see them very often. Well, both of them were here for a visit yesterday evening, and they were both families (them and spouses) floored by the lush growth on our property and I was able to share with them about permaculture and food forest gardening. I gave them each a copy of the 1981 permaculture lectures on a disc for their computer when they left and also gave them each information for getting Gaia's garden and had previously given his sister a copy of Manasobu Fukoka's "One Straw Revolution".

I'm so excited about this because it might bring more life to their properties and save them a lot of grocery bills in the future. Ron's sister has just recently purchased a new property and his brother has 13 kids (his and his wifes from a previous marriage), that they can share this information with.

Genearlly very few people ever come to our property, so they aren't aware of what we grow here, but it was cute to see their jaws drop, as they are used to living in and near cities like Detroit and Toledo..so much fun..
