Howdy!

I love all the ideas and innovations at permies and have been studying perma for a short while and sustainability for a long-while (to me). I am a hard-working 25 year old with my own reliable transportation ( I like to keep my car clean too!)

I have a degree in Sustainable Business from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI and after four more weeks, will have a PDC, but more importantly will feel more confident in moving forward in my education. I'm looking for sustainability related job opportunities all over, but am dropping a line here because I would really like to join a permie effort. First I'm looking to have a situation wherein I could create my own homespace and go from there. Someday Id like to WOOFF but its not a reality right now, so I am looking for paid positions focusing on the West/ Midwest / South of the US. Some day Id like to continue travels and "development" work abroad in permaculture but id like to learn with dirty hands for awhile. Also, I'm more than happy to offer my knowledge of Spanish, Sustainable Business, basic carpentry, drumming, photography, online fundraising, and more as part of the package.

I have a website with more about myself at http://jmb0010.wix.com/josephbalog

Thank you for taking the time to read about me. Forge ahead!

what do you think about a 200 acre organic farm in southcentral Virginia? I am just starting to work it again, with several guys as profitshare. Possibly a house opening up or we could put up a trailer by the 90-foot greenhouse. Working on a forest stewardship program, big garden, laying hens, getting cattle this month. pond, 60 acres in pasture, creeks, mixed forest, all tractors/equipment. Want to grow shiitake again. Another person would be great. Let me know. I'm from Ann Arbor, so Michigan is home.
