I just watched a great video about insectiary planting, and its potential economic impact.

Apparently, the decline in native pollinator populations is a huge economic concern. The video seems to offer some good practical advice, as well:

Here's a link to a documentry about bees. Economics may be partly responsible for the decline of the honey bee.
