It sounds really a great idea, to have an online course on producing pastured broiler chickens. I'm in for trying to achieve on my farm a diverse income and what sometimes we lack is the time and money to take far away trips for courses. So the idea they have come up with is to take the knowledge home to us with this specific online module, I think it's great.

Our first E Learning module will be a comprehensive overview course based around producing pastured broiler chickens. Everything from brooder chicks to field pens to detailed construction process and HACCP plans for an on farm processing unit. Super inspired by the Polyface Farms, we see there are a lot of stumbling blocks to this model, particularly around regulations and conditions we face here in Europe. The objective of this training is a complete overview of all it takes to design, plan, create and run a pastured broiler enterprise. We are by no means experts, but have gathered a lot of insightful experience. We are fundraising specifically to finish our on-farm poultry processing unit, by far the lowest cost processing unit we have come across. By helping us in this pioneering work you are contributing to kick starting many others down the road to restoring their soils and healing their communities.
