Baby Turkeys & Guinea Hens???

A few days ago 7 turkeys hatched that I incubated and this morning 2 Guineas have hatched, with I think 2 more on the way. Yay!

Anyone have anyone what will happen if I try to put them in the same brood box? I'm off grid so having 2 heat lamps is a bit of a stretch, not to mention the fact that these birds will be living in the bathroom for 2 weeks.

I haven't raised either in a brooder so I can't say for sure, but from the experience I do have I would say it depends on space. I have this theory that all fowl revert back to their velociraptor lineage when young and the more confined they are the worse it seems be. You could always put a screen divider in the brooder to separate the keets from the turkey poults.

Thanks Tracy. I now have the 7 turkeys and 5 guinea hens in the brooder together and so far so good.

Nothing is likely to happen. They'll be fine.
