My name is Mary and I live in the original homestead of my family's farm. I am working to transform my one acre parcel into a permaculture demonstration farm and hope to teach workshops and / or host school children for "back to basics" and permaculture learning experiences. I have found many permaculture enthusiasts in the SW Michigan area, but not many in the Mid-Michigan area. I'm hoping to use this forum to connect with other permies in the Mid-Michigan area and develop friendships. If one of those permies happens to be a male, then perhaps we can see where the friendship leads. I am single and have a bright 5 year old daughter whom I love with all of my heart. I don't just bring people into her life, so I'm not looking for anything like that...friendship first...ALWAYS.

Hi Mary, I'm in SW Michigan so not your target, but thought I'd say hi. Perhaps you can connect me with some of the others in SW Michigan since I'm new here. Are you offering classes now? Have you made progress on your homestead? All best, Susan
