I don't know about you, but getting in control of my budget was the first step in me understanding and being in control of my homestead finances! Being involved in
project finances for years, it seemed like I could use those skills to work out what the heck was happening to my money when it came to running my homestead...and helped me to find things to cut and be more frugal (lets face it, making ends meet is a constant battle for the homesteader without a solid off-farm income).
