Finished puttin the cement and perlite in after 11pm. Still fully wet! This is just literally within first five minutes of first lighting! Those temps are awesome!
More redneckovation coming soon. This is Dads version of a rocket stove for outdoor cooking with minimal wood. He still has lots he wants to adjust and play with on it.
I call it redneck stove 0.7 hahaha. the video is a lot of random talking and mostly dad going on about his ideas and rattling off the temps he was getting on his laser reader.
cant wait to see how dry it is tomorrow. its going to a cook out at a friends tomorrow (don't worry we put the box and all on the tailgate, then filled it!) so hopefully good enough to safely unload it off the truck bed to do real cookin on it. dad has lots of ideas going for adding real cooktop/griddle to it as well as oven ideas.
