I'm looking for someone to teach me the permaculture lifestyle first hand. I want to learn organic food gardening, raising small livestock etc. I work during the day but I could come help out after work. I have a car. Looking to change my life here! Thanks

Hi! Welcoem to permies! For information on how the forums work, please check out the Links to Useful Threads and universal Welcome.

If you absolutely must have an in-person mentor, pleas check out O.U.R. Ecovillage, Pacific Permaculture, and Permaculture BC. More places can be found by searching with Google. General places to look for mentors and groups include FaceBook, Permaculture Global, and the Global Ecovillage Database.

Please check out the Cascadia subforum for more people in your region on the forum.

Otherwise, if you are fine with someone teaching you online, the permies community is more than happy to help. I am looking for more stuff to do, and I find it to be more useful for my comprehension and understanding to teach others, instead of reflecting on the thingsI read by myself. So, if you would like, I am more than happy to teach you online.
Tick check! Okay, I guess that was just an itch. Oh wait! Just a tiny ad:
