I have recently moved into a farm with a few olive trees that has been neglected and would like to get them back into shape with hopefully your help.
After doing some research i have narrowed down the problem to lace bugs on the trees, i am however trying to set up an organic, completely natural farm and was wondering if you had any recommendations on naturally removing and preventing these bugs from returning, perhaps with companion planting or making a natural pesticide with herbs that could remove these pests?
Are you sure its lace bug? What sort of effect did you observe on your trees.
On many olive trees we have Bactrocera oleae, that have their larvae eat the olives.

Im from South Africa, i am not completely sure, but after seeing the effect the lace bug had on many olive trees on the internet, i assumed it could be the lace bug, I have not seen any bugs on the leaves itself, but all the leaves have tiny white spots on them and the leaves are turning yellowish?
