Hello, Permies! I love this web site and Paul Wheaton for creating it and all those who contribute. I have learned many things already from reading posts. It's great to hear about folks who are living sustainably.

I have 2.25 acres in West Texas, but since my husband passed away, I need lots of help. It's certainly not off the grid, grow all my own food, etc. But I would like to make it somewhat sustainable.
If I could find maybe a retired man or a couple who know how basic home and yard maintenance that would be great. If anyone is interested we would have to work out the details.

I would be open to moving to a community if I could find a suitable one, but I am 62 years old. I have been here for many years. Also I have 3 large dogs that would have to move with me.
