Optical Surveying For Earthworks and Water with Siskiyou Permaculture
Advanced Permaculture Certificate Course
September 29 - October 4, 2015
Location: Little Applegate, Southern Oregon
Description:
Basic surveying and layout are essential skill sets for every farmer, homesteader, designer and consultant. In this 6 day course, Tom Ward teaches the use of many analog (non-battery operated) surveying tools, along with advanced skills in keyline, pond and swale layout, mapping and other core knowledge necessary for design and implementation of permaculture projects. The course is held at Wolf Gulch Farm where Tom has designed and surveyed trails, ponds, swales, keyline terraces and water and irrigation systems over the last 15 years.
The course is open to all who have a working knowledge of permaculture. An advanced certificate through Cascadia Permacultuare Institute is offered to those who have their PDC. This is the 6th annual offering of this powerful course and curriculum and reviews are available on the Siskiyou Permaculture website.

One of our students says, "This has been THE best educational experience that I have ever had! The wealth of information that Tom has to offer goes light years beyond the scope of this course. I wish I had more time to spend with them; it was completely and overwhelmingly engaging." You can read all the reviews on our website to see what folks have said about the course.

Would you turn that thing down? I'm controlling a mind here! Look ... look at the tiny ad ...
