I want a well bucket, and was thinking to spend $40 total. Ha!
Anyone have thoughts on the homemade ones? (at the bottom of post) I do already have a pulley to attach to a wooden frame not yet built.
Should I use a rope, or would a steel cable be better?
Ours is a 75 ft well with 25 ft water level.

Homemade pvc well buckets, no pricing info. The first one looks better to me.

check out the vintage way getting water out of a well by making a Bailer Bucket out of large PVC pipe. It can be sanded to get the writing off, or painted if you want to fancy it up.
