Driving out copperheads with non-venomous snakes?

Haven't found much on the subject but I had the novel idea of identifying the local snakes in my garden and keeping the non-poisonous ones around in an effort to soak up all the territory of the poisonous ones. Does anyone have some knowledge on this subject and if it will even work? There are three other poisonous snakes around here but only two have I ever seen and only one is a problem (water mocosans stay in the creek bed).

Snakes so far... Racers(garters)(dozens of them every day...), S.Texas rat snake, blind cave snake(lives in the dirt), and a hog nose snake, all non-poisonous... at least I think that is what they are...? And green grass/tree snakes (not pictured)

You'll need to find what local snake eating snakes that are in your area, of those you listed only the cotton mouth and possibly the rat snake eat other snakes, the others just don't grow to enough size to be of much threat. In south Tx. You'll need to look for blue indigo and some from the king snake family, even then you may or may not get what you want accomplished, Mother Nature does have her fickle side. Start searching the gravel roads in your area, about the first two hrs after sunrise and before sunset, catch what target species you can and take them home, keep in mind when you take an animal from its home range you'll have to provide for its survival until it familiarizes itself to the new territory, with cool weather on the way they'll need a snug rock pile or badger hole to get in for warmth, access to water, and of course you already have the copperheads they'll just have to sniff them out for food.

I encourage king snakes and blacksnakes around here as both kill and eat venomous snakes. Blacksnakes will occasionally raid the chicken house for eggs, but I don't mind a few lost eggs in return for no rattlesnakes or copperheads.
