Not sure where to put this but figured here was as good as any, please move if necessary. As Price and Pottenger discovered when diet is off the skeletal features of our offspring are negatively impacted and one of those features is our noses, as well as our jaw shape, our "dental arch" and our ability to fit wisdom teeth. Having trouble nose breathing through a narrow nose is a big problem, especially when trying to have an active lifestyle. Came across a procedure that is easy, harmless, inexpensive and effective at improving breathing by "gently crushing" or adjusting inward the center divider of the nose by a procedure called endonasal or sinuplasty. Chiropractor inserts small balloon, inflates and pushes inward on the outside of the nose to apply firm pressure to the center divider of the nose. This procedure can also be used to cure vertigo/meziere's disease though I just want to be able to breathe easier and not have to buy box after box of those nose strips.

for anyone who also suffers from a narrow restrictive nose/mouth breathing/snoring/vertigo it is something to look into as a holistic/non invasive, non surgical, non cpap, not costly therapy. Hoping it will get rid of sinus congestion as even a small amount of inflammation will shut down my sinus' and force me into mouth breathing.

It can work well, BUT....

If your body isn't healed and balanced first, you can create scar tissue and extra semi permanent inflammation at the injury which will make it worse. You need to cure, not just suppress, your inflammation problems first.

I understand, the inflammation comes from the small nasal cavity though, when I sleep on my side the pillow can close one side of my nose, that means all the air I can breathe is going through an 1/8x1/2 inch slot, when the air is cold and dry it makes it worse and will chap the back inside of my throat, high velocity cold air, hard on the sinus tissues, creates chronic sinusitis. Hoping the wider openings will keep the one side from ever getting sealed shut, also slow down the velocity of the air and give my nose time to humidify and warm it. When I wear a nose strip and it keeps both my nostrils open all night long I wake up no inflammation, no hacking cough or phlegm, no obstruction.

Yes, but they are crushing/breaking cartilage and soft tissue. If you are prone to scarring it may grow back to be more restrictive and force more invasive surgery.

Do your joints stay enlarged after being popped or sprained? Do you get large scars from injuries? Do you have arthritis symptoms? Those are warning signs this may not be the right answer for you now.

If you have been on a wapf diet you should have reduced those tendencies, but might not have eliminated them yet. The underlying causes (bacteria and fungus) may just be dormant.

On a wapf anti inflammatory nutrient dense diet, I hoard coconut oil like it's going to be banned! No arthritis or pain in my body whatsoever, religious with chiropractic adjustments acupuncture etc. No joint issues, I crack my knuckles all the time and no dexterity or arthtitis problems. bone broth, cod liver oil etc almost daily. Just tired of suffocating and this should be the answer for me, slow process going to take as many as 3-8 appointments so should be a nice easy adjustment to hopefully easier better breathing.

COOL. It should do exactly what you want, then.

I was just worried because so many people jump to "quick fixes" without doing the fundamentals first.

Hoping so, I saw the surgical alternative and no fricken way. they pretty much tear chunks of bone and flesh from the center of your nose, I cant even imagine. The video was graphic. Things you cant unsee!

been 4 weeks and so far so good, had about 3 appts with procedures and 2 follow up that needed no adjustments, haven't had that suffocating feeling since.
