Hello Permies! I just moved to Corvallis, OR and am looking for a beautiful living situation, or an inspiring, interesting project to work on. I am very interested in natural building and I have dry stone masonry skills to offer. I also love to grow food. Perhaps I can be the person who lives on your property and helps pull weeds, feed the chickens, and milk the goats!

About me: I am 30 years old, have been working seasonally for Yosemite National Park living out in the wilderness for 6 months at a stretch, working with backcountry trail crews, hence the stone masonry skills. I meditate regularly, and find chopping wood to be extremely satisfying. I live with my partner, who is attending graduate school @ Oregon State and will not be returning to the mountains this summer. However, I love to spend my time outdoors and want to live in a way that is harmoniously connected with the natural world, as much as possible. I have a vehicle, but prefer to cycle everywhere. I am strong and eager to work! My partner makes his peace turning the compost and tending the vegetables as well, but I will be able to offer the most labor.

I am interested in volunteer, work/trade, or paid work.

Ideally we would have a little one room cabin with a wood stove a little ways out of town, but we are super flexible. Just trying to avoid living in an apartment

Any leads would be much appreciated
