My Ag Agent came out and looked at a sick chicken .. one eye closed and walking in circles on the blind side. This was two weeks ago. I tried Terramycin for a week .. no change .. tried Echinacea for a week .. eye opened but still in the hen house walking is small circles .. I'm trying Yarrow today .. circles are larger and she came out an ate. I was about ready to kill her thinking she had something that she could spread. Not so and she is almost normal.

Have you had small red spots on your stomach, leg or foot. Congratulations. You had West Nile.

This chicken is getting better and then going backwards .. but over all getting better. The circling also effects horses. They sit down and spin and bloody their seats and have to be shot if you can't stop the circling.

Chickens are amazingly tough critters.  I had one who had several strokes but kept on laying eggs.

For my next trick, I'll need the help of a tiny ad ...
