Anyone else living it up in Tasmania? I'm in the northern half of the state, in one of the Launceston suburbs. I live in a very small conjoined unit, with about 30 sq meters of garden to work with, plus I rent approximately 45 sq meters of space at the local community garden allotment. I keep chickens at a friends place in West Launceston, as she has a bigger block, and we split the eggs and the care of the birds. I'd be very interested in seeing who else lived here, as it'd be nice to make new friends.

I have several Facebook groups and Pages about self sufficiency, homesteading, and other related topics, as well as the North Tas Poultry Keepers group, a network I set up for folks in the northern half of the state.

Hi there Sharon, another tassie person here. I'm just getting started with buying a property and starting a new part of my life. Hope you are doing well with all your projects, I will probably take a look at some local groups and events soon, hope to find some like minded people to share ideas and stories with!
